The construction standard on rigging equipment for material handling, 29 CFR 1926.251 requires employers to retain a certificate of the proof-test performed on equipment.  All of our steel Washout Pan containers are load-tested at more than twice their rated capacity. A unique serialized equipment plate is attached to each pan by a steel mounting plate and four rivets. Fabricated using ASTM A572 grade 50 steel. Considered a 'workhorse' grade steel that is widely used in many applications. Steel mills produce channel and heavy beams with grade 50.
